The Earth, which we all share and depend upon, cries out for our attention regarding animal rights and environmental crises. Awareness is growing and climate change is convincing; yet, it is still a slow embrace, when we consider over 160 billion farm animals are slaughtered yearly for food that is not required and has dire consequences for both our planet and our health.

To leave the minimal carbon footprint, plant foods are the ahimsa, non-harming, diet for yogis and for everyone who wishes to live in harmony with nature. The vegan diet supports the right of all animals to live the life they were gifted; may compassion guide to the vegan way. This course, an overview of the vegan lifestyle and movement, provides the education and scientific facts necessary to make conscious choices.
